Recent events are heavy right now for at least half of the population in the U.S. How you respond to the current events is paramount in making a bounce back in whatever you are able to do.
Firstly, I want to add that your response to current events will look different to everyone. This is unique and should not be uniform for everyone. If you want to grieve, grieve. Rage. Be angry. Feel numb. Feel the things and don’t try to wriggle away from them or repress them. But also don’t try to setup camp there in that emotion and live there. Move through it when you’re ready.
